About Us

Celebrity Ranch, formerly known as PM Show Horses, was established in 1997 by Danielle Miller and Mary Plotkin. The stable has been at the current location in Southeast Chandler, Arizona since July of 2003. Mary Plotkin is a life long horse enthusiast from Northeastern Ohio, where she met her husband Douglas Plotkin on a trail ride. They have been married for over 30 years and reside on the ranch. Danielle Miller, Mary's daughter,  has enjoyed riding and showing since childhood and began training horses as a teenager. She has competed on the local and national level and is the riding instructor at Celebrity Ranch. Celebrity Ranch School of Horsemanship caters to helping horse crazy folks with ordinary skills achieve extraordinary goals through ground work, dressage principles and trail obstacle work. The ranch was named after our long ago broodmare, AQHA Ima Pretty Celebrity. Three of "Big Mama's " six foals have lived on the ranch, and now a third generation of Celebrity Ranch bred babies are succeeding in the show ring. We also raise silkie and Polish chickens and often have chicks, pullets or breeding pairs available for sale. Fresh eggs are also usually offered for sale.
